About Bruzzese's Italian Gourmet Salumeria

Gourmet Italian Deli and large selection of prepared foods. Gourmet Catering.

Located at 27 Seguine Ave, Staten Island, NY 10309, Bruzzese's Italian Gourmet Salumeria operates as a burger serving Staten Island in New York. This page gathers the practical details people usually look for before visiting: where it is, how to reach it, when it opens and how customers rate it.

This group covers the non-Asian restaurants, cafes, bars and food businesses that also appear in a mixed-cuisine food scene, including American diners, pizza, Mexican food, burgers, steakhouses and bakeries. Standard US restaurant norms apply: lunch and dinner service with a quieter stretch between, cards and tap-to-pay accepted almost everywhere, and a tip of 15-20% customary for table service. Fast food and quick-service counters expect payment up front and tipping is optional. Bars check ID for anyone who looks under 30, and the drinking age is 21 nationwide. Many restaurants in this group take reservations online through third-party platforms, while casual and fast-food spots are walk-in only. Sales tax is added at the register on top of the menu price and varies by city and state, so the final total is usually a few percent higher than the posted prices suggest.

The business lists hours on 2 days of the week. Typical hours are 9 AM–6 PM. As with most places, expect changes around holidays; the phone number below is the fastest way to confirm. Staten Island is in New York, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. Getting around Staten Island is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across New York's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

Literally one of the very few best on Staten Island, the only store I go to buy my chicken cutlets! I know all the girls and they are always so nice and friendly and the counter guys are always ready to help you! I think I go there like 3 or 4 times a week. Great store great food!

If we initially did not call back in hopes of a better outcome my review would have differed negatively. We got a wonderful catering this weekend my niece had ordered. We at first we spoke to a very nasty lady named Jessica originally who just gave the assumption we were bothering her with questions in regards to our catering order. She was very rude and has no business being in the customer service industry. We said we would call back and confirm unsure we wanted to proceed further since she seemed to be in a hurry. This was early afternoon around 1pm Monday June 8th that We winded up putting our order through with I believe her name was Jelissa. She was patient, kind and very helpful. We winded up with a wonderful catering from this store. We briefly spoke with another girl during the week she was kind too. We will definitely be catering from this establishment again just to our knowledge we know now to ask for a specific catering person as per our first impression and attempt. I would have given 5 stars if my niece had felt more welcomed the first time around!

I gotta sandwich for a flight, first time here but my family said it was pretty good. I got the #1 which includes chicken cutlet and my chicken cutlet was raw. I took out a cutlet too (unfortunately didn’t take a pic) and broke it in half and it confirmed even more that it was raw. Even pinker than what’s shown in the picture attached. I’m usually not the complaining type but it was so disappointing, I was already checked in at the airport so I couldn’t necessarily bring it back. Paid $16 for the sandwich. Had to get something else at the airport. The lard breads good but definitely not going back for the sandwiches. Not hating, just bringing it to their attention.

Bruzzese's Italian Gourmet Salumeria is a hidden gem on Staten Island. The selection of imported Italian meats, cheeses, and other delicacies is mind-blowing. I grabbed some prosciutto, burrata, and a loaf of their homemade bread. Seriously, the flavors were incredible! If you love authentic Italian food, you NEED to check this place out.
